Ivana Sajko

  • Born in Zagreb, Croatia (8 December 1975)
  • Graduated dramaturgy on Academy of Drama Arts, Zagreb, Croatia.
  • M.S. in literature at the University of Philosophy in Zagreb titled Topics of Madness and Revolution in the drama of 20th Century.
  • 1995. founded activistic group Project Buffalo.
  • Since 1996. member of editorial board of FRAKCIJA International Magazine for Contemporary Performing Arts. From 2004. member of editorial board of magazine for literature Tema:.
  • 1998-2000 editor of the tv-show for contemporary theatre and dance V-effekt
  • 2000 – co founder of theatre group BADco. where working as dramaturg, playwright and director.
  • In 2001. became an author of Verlag der Autoren, Frankfurt am Main.
  • Working for radio, TV and newspapers as a freelance author and as a guest-professor at the Academy of Drama Arts in Zagreb.
  • Performing her texts in the form of Auto-referential readings
